WHITE Rieger Eggs
are laid by white-feathered hens or other hens with white earlobes.
BROWN Rieger Eggs
are laid by brown-feathered hens or other hens with red earlobes.

Eggshell color depends on the breed of the hen. Generally speaking, white shell eggs come from hens with white feathers, while brown shell eggs are produced by hens with brown feathers. Nutritionally, both brown and white Rieger Eggs are identical.
There is NO difference between
White or Brown Rieger Eggs.

White or Brown Free Range Rieger Eggs have the same nutritional value.

Rieger Plus* Eggs
Hens eat Certified Organic Feed,
Certified by Pro-Cert.
Hens are completely cage-free, roost, inside the barn, and lay their eggs in nest boxes. Have free access to both feed and unlimited water, inside and outside the barn.
On May 5. 2008 Rieger Farms received the Certification and implementation of the "BC Environmental Farm Plan".
"As of today, Rieger Farms has selected not to be certified by any other Organic Organization, private or government agency.
Therefore, we can't call those eggs "organic eggs."
We call them Rieger Plus* eggs
"However, with or without any organic certification,
"Rieger Plus" eggs have the same nutritional value as most other Certified Organic Eggs sold on the market."
